Greetings! My name is Captain Alexandra Mejias and I am the Uniformed Readiness Coordinator (URC) for the Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools (MCCSSS). I want to take a moment to welcome you and your family to the unit and ensure that you are connected to MCCSSS! I am responsible for being a link between you and the Command, as well as offering information and referral services aboard the base, the local community and even online. I am also responsible for the volunteer management within the unit and can help volunteers track valuable hours via the Volunteer Tracking Tool (VTT). You can expect messages from the Mass Communication Tool (MCT) at least once per month letting you know of events taking place within the unit, so if your contact information changes please let me know at any time so that I may update it within the Advanced Organizational Communication Tool on Marine Online.

I encourage you to be apart of the unit, as there are a number of ways which you can get involved! This includes attending briefs, becoming a volunteer within the command, being present at family functions and by providing feedback on any events that you attend! I am always open to new suggestions and ideas, so please utilize my contact information below for those items.

In addition to the support you will receive from the command, the URC and the volunteers within the unit, there are also many programs aboard Camp Lejeune that can assist you with a variety of topics. Marine Corps Family Team Building, Marine and Family Services, and Semper Fit are a few of the departments that offer classes and training that may be of interest. You can go online to view their schedule by logging on to: https://lejeunenewriver.usmc-mccs.org/

Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions you may have related to settling in to this area, deployment related issues, classes offered by MCCS, or any other concerns that may arise. Once again, welcome to the MCCSSS Family!

Sincerely,

Alexandra M. Mejias
