MISSION
The mission of the Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools (MCCSSS) S1 is to provide comprehensive personnel, manpower, and administrative support as a regional, O6-level major subordinate command. The S1 ensures total force accountability and operational readiness by maintaining administrative oversight and adherence to statutory guidelines and policies set forth by the Commander, MCCSSS, and higher headquarters.
As a centralized administrative hub, the S1 serves as the higher administrative headquarters for four subordinate O5 commands, while executing Administrative Control (ADCON) and total force reporting for geographically dispersed tenant and specialized units spanning from the East Coast to Camp Pendleton. Additionally, the S1 mans and executes critical administrative infrastructure and personnel accountability operations for the Command Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during destructive weather and emergency response contingencies. Our focus is on delivering precise administrative infrastructure, enabling all assigned and attached personnel to remain mission-ready and prepared for challenges faced in both peacetime and war.
