PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR
Staff Sergeant Chaise Hill

Chaise Hill was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, on May 8, 1998. He graduated from Southeast Guilford High School in June 2016. After high school, he began recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, on June 5, 2017.

Upon completing recruit training, Private First Class Hill attended Marine Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. After finishing MCT, he attended Personnel Administration School (PAS) and earned the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 0111, Administrative Specialist.

 In January 2018, after graduating from PAS, he received his first duty assignment at Education Command, Marine Corps University, in Quantico, VA, where he served as the G-1 Administrative Clerk.

While serving under Education Command, he was promoted to the ranks of Lance Corporal and Corporal, and he held positions as the S-3 Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) and later as the S-1 NCOIC for the Expeditionary Warfare School.

In April 2021, Corporal Hill reported to the Installation Personnel Administration Center at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. There, he served as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the Inbound Branch, Outbound Branch, and Quality Assurance. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and subsequently transferred to the S-1 section at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, where he continued to serve as the NCOIC.

In September 2023, Sergeant Hill was assigned to Personnel Administration School aboard Camp Johnson, where he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in May 2024. During his time at the Personnel Administration School, he served as a Formal School Instructor and currently holds the position of Entry Level Academics Course Chief. He was recognized as the Instructor of the Quarter for the Fifth Quarter of Fiscal Year 2025 and later competed for and won the title of Instructor of the Year for Personnel Administration School, followed by the title of Instructor of the Year for Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools.

Staff Sergeant Hill's personal decorations include two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, and one Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.

Staff Sergeant Hill is married to Desiree Hill, and together they have three children: Kylyn, Cataleya, and Kalenna.
